What Goes Around....

Comes around!

I truly believe that. If you are kind and help others good things come to you.

A customer found Chris in a Google search. She had a special request and Chris referred her to me!

This pendant is for a wonderful lady that has been her 'mom' since she was about 14 or so. She was a serious gift from God and still is 32 years later. Her "Mom" is coming to her church to lead a retreat and the words are the theme for the retreat as well as what she feels God is whispering in her ear personally.

I think that's awesome and I gladly made it for her. I LOVE it! Beloved has always been a special word for me, and I never thought to divide it this way.

The customer says she loves it too, and can't wait to hold it in her hands.

Anyway, the reason for the title of this post is because I try to help people whenever I can, and I have been trying to help a couple of folks this weekend.

I don't believe in guarding any techneque I use like it was Colonel Sander's Secret Recipe, and if you would like to know how I did something, just ask me. I will try to explain it the best that I can! If it weren't for people willing to share, I wouldn't know anything! So I'm paying it forward, and this weekend it has come back to me in several sales in my shop.

So be kind to each other and good things will come your way.

The pendant is LOVELY, and so are YOU Tammy! :-)) For anyone who is reading, I am one of those lucky people who Tammy has been helping. She has been extremely generous and sweet. And I am so glad and thankful I know her. :-)))))

Tammy, for some reason, "Beloved" is a word I cherish too. (((hugs)))

What a great pendant Tammy - you did a beautiful job for her! And that is so true about sharing - I have learned so much from others willing to share their knowledge, and made many new friends through answering questions when I can. The jewelry artist community is almost like family! I do envy you your stamps, though - I have been waiting months and months. It's worse than the Great Pepe Disc Cutter Shortage of 2008, lol!

Thank you Barrie. It really does pay to be nice!

Thank so much Cheryl! I did manage to get a P.E.P.E. disc cutter set and I adore it! I wish I'd gotten it a lot sooner.
These stamps are sooo worth the wait. I hope you get them soon!

Hi Tammy, This a wonderful blog from you and the world needs more Tammys like you. You are indeed very generous and I also am one of the recipients of your sharing. I have found that if you ask, people will usually be willing to help out. If you guys are talking about the Beaducation stamps, I am one of those lucky ones that got a set the day their server crashed:>} I don't think I would have gotten in if luck hadn't been on my side because I got in just as the server came back up and wham - I got my much coveted set of stamps. Good luck to all of you still on the list because it is worth the wait. Again, thanks Tammy for everyone you help.

A beautiful piece, a beautiful post and a beautiful person! It does, indeed, come back around!

I met a talented metalsmith at a show last week and he offered his assistance freely - I've met wonderful people since I've begun crafting jewelry and I suspect I'll meet many more!

PS: just saw that you tagged me - it will be up tomorrow!
