Sunday

WOW! I have got to do better with my blog! Sorry! Things have been busy around here with just life stuff.
My youngest was diagnosed as bipolar and put on meds, which seem to help.

I finally bought a car! After 8 years of driving my beloved truck, I found a Chrysler 300 and I bought it. It's not new, because I don't believe in buying new cars. Too much loss with depreciation. It's an '05, but it drives like new. I love it! I've wanted one of these cars sice they first came out. I love that it's a full size car, and it has a gorgeous, low stance. Perfect! Anyway, I guess you can tell I'm proud of it :)

In other news, my Etsy shop has died! I have no idea why, but business is pitiful, and that's not good. I think I'll make a new website of my own and see if that will help.

Love your new ride! I am thinking of getting a rig that can carry more art/craft stuff next time. I currently drive a 2001 civic which gets great MPG. 38 actually. but no room for all my stuff ! and the dogs. I stumbled on your blog today, and enjoyed your pics and posts. Seems we are all down on traffic on Etsy. But I am still hoping it will improve over time. With new SEO knowledge and all. Hang in there!

Thanks guys! I am loving my car. It's a big change from driving a truck for so many years, but it's awesome ;)

Hey Tammy I just checked out your Etsy shop and it's amazing, one of my favorites you are a very talented artist! My shop is dead to not sure what the deal is but I've had a lot of luck in the boutiques I sell at. I look forward to following your blog.

Doing your own business is hard. I wish you good luck! I am trying to make mine work too. Anyway, what you were saying is exactly what my husband thinks. He thinks that buying a new car isn't worth it. He prefer buying cars that is couple years old. Before we got our car, we were driving a 58 dodge ram truck?:)

sorry, I meant 85 dodge ram, but my husband does have an 58 powergiant.

Thanks Melissa! Good luck with your business, too.
That Dodge your husband has will probably last forever! :)

Hi Tammy!
It's been a long time. Glad you got things with your boy worked out and your car is fabulous!! Sorry your shop has died, I think it's just the economy right now! I'm sure it will pick up soon. Starting your own website is a good idea, I think..... I have been so bad about my blog also, I just finally posted a new blog today, since Oct.
:)

Yes, a friend of mine is experiencing slow business on etsy too. I think the economy is just bad right now and people are holding onto their money.

Tammy! Congratulations on that sweet ride of yours! Looks goooood. And the rings you've been making have me droooooooooooling. I've not been near jewellery a lot lately myself - a lot's happened, what with my choir rehearsals taking up so much time and my grandfather's death and all. I do love those dogs of yours, they're gorgeous! Take care, I wear your ring all the time and it makes me smile. :)
