In other news: My DIL's mother finally got her birth certificate, after we've been trying to get her to for 2 years. Now I'm taking her to the DMV on Monday to get a photo ID then we go back to Shreveport on the 22nd. Maybe this time they'll see her!

Glad to hear that you guys are getting that stuff sorted out. This country is so depending on paper work... I know how bad it can suck being a foreigner here...
