Please take a moment out of your day to remember all the men and women who have helped this country be what it is today.
It's a depressing day to me, but I was already down, so it's just one more thing to be sad about.
I let Cane go yesterday. I have such mixed feelings about it. I know it was the right thing to do, but I can't help but worry. I have to just leave it in God's hands.
I also put my Etsy shop on vacation for a while. I'm feeling really burned out. I'm still going to be working on jewelry, but it will be new stuff. I guess I just need to renew myself, so when I finish my orders today, I'll have time for being creative, and time to relax!
Having your own business is stressful sometimes, especially when you have to make each piece you sell! Normally I love it, but right now I'm tired. My 5 year old grandaughter told me I look bad! :) Kids are brutally honest, and tell it like it is. She's right, I do look bad.
Not checking my Etsy store is really weird, though! I've been doing it for 14 months, and it's become a habit. Now I walk over here to the computer and then think "Hmm, what are you doing?" Etsy has become such a big part of my life, what would I do without it? I think I would be lost! But everybody needs a vacation every once in a while!

*BIG hug* You need relaxation, rest, and some time away from your jewellery just so you can recharge. It's been a busy few weeks, your mind needs to rest its creative batteries too! Take your time, don't rush, and you did the right thing letting Cane go. Tea, book, nature-grazing!
You did such a wonderful thing with Cane. I know it's hard but good for you! Yes, everyone does need a vacation.....I'm really looking forward to seeing your new stuff!!
Tammy,
I want to congratulate you on both letting the bunny go and taking a break. You did a wonderful thing saving that beautiful creature's life and did amazingly well just keeping him alive. I'm impressed.
I think taking a work break is awesome and I hope you rejuvenate many times over. Find some fun and relaxing things to do. Celebrate yourself and enjoy whatever inspires you. That's what I say anyway!!
{{{HUGS}}}
Hi Tammy,
sorry to hear your down, your vacation doesn't have to be a permanent one, right! Congrats on being able to let cane go.. I would have been to selfish to do it....Do you think maybe some of your funk might be your youngest graduating high school?? I can imagine all the emotions that will come when that day is upon me and maybe you are going through a bit of a mourning period? Or I could be way off base..
Take a couple "you" days!! eat your favorite things, get a pedicure and buy something new just for you! Sounds like you deserve it!

Thanks everybody! I'm just a little down, I guess it's from everything together. The rabbit, graduation, and I'm just tired!
I'm definitely not on permanent vacation. I just want to have some time to make new pieces. I have tons of stones for earrings, and I want to make some rings with my turquoise. I'm just taking a little break from the shop.
Sending you hugs Tammy. Yes, having one's own business can get stressful. But I know that you will be all refreshed and ready to go after a well deserved, much needed vacation.
Cane will do ok Tammy. {{{Hugs}}}
Take your time and give yourself the break you need...you'll come back with new ideas and fully recharged!
I completely understand about burnout...very important to regroup and remember why you love making jewelry in the first place...sorry about Cane...right thing to do...still hard though... hugs!
I know it is hard to relax. It is for me...but, it will do you good.
Cane is in good hands. The ONLY hands he needs to be in....
So, take care my friend. I am praying for you.
Hi Tammy , It's okay to take some time for yourself and get away from the grind! I just got to do that for a few days and I feel so much better! A little time out is great. New ideas will come! Hugs, Stephani
